​Introducing VOAS.VOAS is one of the first GP led advanced surgical services in the uk. We are not registered specialists, however we do have considerable experience and are equipped to a standard to rival many specialist centres.

Our goal is to provide an intermediary service between first opinion practice and specialist referral. It is also to provide a completely new level of personal service, most importantly for our patients, but also to our clients.

 

We are passionate about the principles of fear free medicine and this will be reflected in everything we do.

 

In the interest of animal welfare we believe that advanced surgery should not just be available to just the wealthy or insured, but should be available to a far greater number of people. Throughout Mr Spencer's career, these are the principles to which he has always worked.

 

The service is lead by Mr Spencer. From graduation, he has always had a passion for orthopaedics and advanced soft tissue surgery. This started whilst working in a busy RSCPA hospital. He holds the ESVPS advanced certificate in orthopaedics.

 

Our practice ethos is very much about providing high quality but more affordable care. Our fees are typically 25-40% of the cost of specialist referrals. For continuity of care we prefer to treat local patients, but if finances are limited we will happily accept cases from a wide area, especially if the only other option available is amputation or euthanasia.
